How much does it cost?
For the 50k and 100k rides, your registration fee of $40 includes lunch, an event T-shirt, rider bag and SAG support and stops (if registered by August 15, after that date registration fees are $45 and T-shirt size is not guaranteed).
The registration fee for the Friends and Family Ride, Virtual Ride or Satellite Ride is $15 per family member. All riders are required to wear bike helmets on the friends and family ride. Family and friends are welcome for lunch. Additional lunches can be purchased for $5 for adults, $2 for children.
**Heartspring challenges all participants to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs by raising a minimum of $50 in donations (not including registration fees).
What is PedalFest?
PedalFest is a one-day leisure bike ride (Family ride, 50k or 100k) through the scenic countryside around Wichita, Kansas. This year’s ride will take place on Sunday, August 30. Riders are fully supported with Supplies and Gear (SAG) stops and mechanical assistance to ensure a fun and safe day for everyone. A variety of kid-friendly events will also take place on the Heartspring campus. Last year, nearly 250 riders helped to raise over $13,000 for the children of Heartspring. 2009 marks the sixth year for PedalFest.

Where is PedalFest?
Heartspring is conveniently located in northeast Wichita, Kansas on 29th Street between Rock Road and Webb Road. Nearby highways include I-135, K-96 and US Highway 400.

Where do I park?
Parking will be allowed in the Heartspring parking lots. However you must enter Heartspring from 32nd street. The 29th Street entrance will be closed.

What are the routes for the 50k, 100k or Friends and Family Rides?
The route for the 50K Ride is approximately 50.4K long with the following route:
East on 29th to Webb. South on Webb to 31st, then east to Greenwich. South on Greenwich to 63rd, then west to Buckner, then north on Buckner (turns into Oliver) to Pawnee. East on Pawnee back to Webb, then north on Webb back to Heartspring. SAG stops will be available on the north gravel drive at the Hidden Lakes Golf Course (mile 12.3) and at Cessna (mile 22.2).
The route for the 100K Ride is approximately 100K long with the following route:
East on 29th to Webb. South on Webb to 31st, then east to Greenwich. South on Greenwich to 63rd, then west to Hydraulic, then South on Hydraulic to 119th (Highway 53). East on 119th to Oliver, then south on Oliver to the Belle Plain Cenex at 4th avenue. Turn around and back to the north on Oliver to Highway 53, then east on 53 into Mulvane. 53 highway to Main Street (east on W Bridge St, then south on S 1st Ave). East on Main to Greenwich, then north on Greenwich to 31st South. West on 31st to Webb, then north on Webb back to Heartspring. SAG stops will be available on the north gravel drive at the Hidden Lakes Golf Course (mile 12.3), at Aggregate Topsoil (mile 25), at the Park in Mulvane on Main (mile 39.5) and again at Hidden Lakes Golf Course (mile 49.5) on the way back.
The route for the Friends and Family Ride is approximately 5 miles long with the following route: Exit Heartspring through the 32nd Street drive, turn left on to 32nd and proceed west toward Rock Road. Cross Rock Road at the crosswalk and continue up 32nd street Cross Woodlawn at the crosswalk and head right (east) to enter the K-96 bike path. Continue west on the bike path to Chisholm Trail parking lot, were a SAG stop will be set up. Return to Heartspring along the same route heading toward Woodlawn.
